John Brookes of Mallow Aged about 50 years beinge Sworne and Examind Saith that hee knew the afforesaid Mortagh McDaniell Carthy Liuinge as afforesaid the Same yeare afforesaid
That hee was the said Carthy was in Actuall Armes with the Eneimy in the yeare 41 and was one
The Cause of this deponent knowledge is that hee saw him and Came prisoner with him to the Garrison of Mallow when the Irish Came to beseige the afforesaid Garrison and ffarther saith not
