<Mallow March the 7o 1653> Deposicions taken Concerninge Teige Roe ô Callaghane of Rossgeene in Barrony of Duhallow in the County of Corke gent, in the yeare 1641
Phillip Vaughane of Mallow in the County aforesaid aged fforty Eight yeares, being Duly Sworne and Examined Saith that
That, the said Teige Roe ô Callaghane Liued abroad in the Enemyes quarters Since the first yeare of the Rebellion and Did Not Remoue into any of the Parliaments quarters or Garrisons
That hee was in actuall Armes with the Irish Enemy against the English,
That hee Commanded as Captain of a Troope of horse in the Regiment of Leiutenant Generall Barry,
That hee had three Brothers abroad in Actuall Armes in the Same Service, viz. Donogh ô Callaghane, Callaghane ô Callaghane & Cnoghor ô Callaghane,
The Cause of this Deponents Knowledge is that hee Saw him, Ride in the head of a Party of horse thorrough Mallow, and that hee Saw the rest of his Brothers in Action
