<Mallow March 13th 1653> Depositions taken Concerninge Edmond Stapleton of Ballinquile in the Barrony of Orrery & County of Corke in the yeare 1641
John Barry of BalliClogh in the Barrony of Orrery aged about 30 yeares beinge Sworne & Examined saith
That the said Stapleton was in Actuall Armes in the yeare 41
The Cause of this deponent knowled is that the said Stapleton was taken out of his Castle by the Captain ffenton & Carried prisoner to Dunaraile where there was A CourtMarshell past one him by the Lord Inchiquin & farther Saith not
