<Bandon Aprill 10th 1654> Deposicons taken Concerning Captain Donnah McCarty liueing at Rare=trout
William Sherill of Bandon=bridge aged about 30 yeares being sworne & examined saith
<(1> That hee knewe the aforesaid Captain Donnah McCarty liueing in Clanikilty in the Barrony of Carbery in the yeare: 1641 That
That hee was in actuall Armes (being McCarty Reogh his Brother)
The Cause of this deponents Knowledge is that hee sawe the said Captain Carty at Yeoghall siege Comaunding a troope of horse, the English sallowing forth of Youghall towne were forced by the said Carty & his party to retire backe againe & ffurther saith nott
