Anthony Coates of Bandon bridge aged about 30 yeares being sworne & examined saith
That the aforesaid Donnah McCarty was in actuall Armes in the yeare: 1641:
The Cause of this deponents Knowledge is that hee was taken prisoner by the Iresh party in the said yeare where hee sawe the abouesaid Donnah Mc Carty who was one of the Chiefest that Comaunded the party & ffurther saith nott
