<Bandon Aprill 10th 1654> Depositions taken Concerninge Owen Moile Carthy of the veale Castle in the Barrony of Carbery in the yeare 41
Anthony Coats of Bandon Aged about 30 yeares beinge Sworne & Examined Saith
That the said Carthy was in Actuall Armes with the Eneimy the Same yeare & that hee had sonne Likewise in Actuall Armes & was kild by the English partie & within two Mile of Bandon
The Cause of this deponent knowledge is that hee wa s with [all] Saw the afforesaid Carthy with McCarthy Reagh & his partie att the Seige of A house in which this deponent was & farther Saith Nott
