The Examinacion of Charles Roe of Athlone Smyth taken beefore vs this 29th of Aprill 1653 for and on the beehalfe of the Common Wealth
This deponent Sayth that hee did Knowe one John Stibbs and George Dyllon whoe was hanged In this Towne as hee heard for giueinge Intelligence to the English Quarter or for A letter which Should bee Receiued by the Said Stibbs and Dylyon [ ] the hands of out of the English Quarters And hath heard that the Lord Dyllyons Lady Should make a protestacion that Shee would neyther Eate Nor drinke vntill Such tyme that the Said George Dyllyon and John Stibbs were Executed and putt to death
