The Examination of Edmund mc Henry roe Burk taken before vs beinge Comissioners for Administracion of Justice in the precincts of Gallway.
Whoe beinge examined saith, that he was of the Lorde of Clanmoris his party when sargeant Rouleright and the rest of the English with him were taken prisoners at Oranmore As beinge a seruant of the said Lord and was present at the place where the said persons were executed <A> and saith that he had noe other Armes but a sword; and saith that the nomber of persons which were with the said Lord were aboute the number of eight, or ten, as he conceiueth the names of the said party which he remembreth is John fitz Gerrald, John mc shida, william รด flahy of Tuam; he further saith that Rickard Burk of Gotnamackan was one of the said party, And further saith the said Lord with his party came from Killcornan aboute nine of the clock in the morneinge the same day the persons aboue said were executed; at Clarynbridge; and there accompanied him from Killcornan Collo: <B> Thomas Burk from of Killcornan; they all rideinge in full speed, & the <the said> Collo parted another way a little beyond Oran more; from the said Lord of Clanmoris, and tooke with him twoe or three from the said party, and mett the said Lord with the said party betwixt Oran more and Killcornan; aboute an howre after his Departure, and accompanied them to the bridge; and this examinant saith that when he sawe the carrs sett vpp for the execution of the men; he departed the place; And within three or foure dayes after he left the said Lords seruices And from that time further saith not:
