The Receginzance of John Tompson of Ballinycross in Lecale in the County of Downe taken by vs, for the use of the Commonwealth of England the 19th day of May 1653 at Carrickfergus
The said John Tompson acknowledgeth to bee indebted vnto the Commonwealth of England the sum of fiftie pounds sterling to bee leauied, of his body goods and lands as in such cases is usuall _____50 li.:00:00
The Condition of the said Receginance is that if the said John Tompson, shall at all times, within or after four dayes warning giuen him or left at his house, or other place of abideing appeare before such in authority requireing his appearance aforesaid to giue in euidence before such soe in power, whether at high court of Justice, Jayle deliuery or otherwise against Art alias Arthur o Neile & Bryan alias Sir Bryan o Neile and not parte such court of Judicature without speciall licence that then this Receg: to bee voyde, otherwise to remaine in virtue in law
