The examinacion of John Crafford of Ramoane Parish labourer taken before vs the day & yeare first above written
<5> Who being duely sworne & examined saith That about the sixteenth of ffebruary 1641. One Patricke McReagh of Ballynebantrey <A> in Loughgeill parish in the County of Antrim told & confessed vnto him this Examinante that about forty daies before, he had killed one Robert ffinlay of Armoy Parish, & that he made the dublett he then had on of the said Robert ffinlaies Breeches, And this Examinate further saith that he did very well know the said Robert ffinlay, & that alsoe vpon narrow view he did know that the said dublett which the said Patricke McReagh had then on were made of the said Robert ffinlaies Breeches whom he confessed to <B> have murdered And further he saith That he the said Patricke McReagh further confessed vnto this Examinate the same time that he was at the first bloodshedding in the Barony of Cary before the Murder at Portnaw, when in the night he broake the house of widdowe Patten and stabbed John Patten her sonne therein, who afterwards was murdered, And further he saith not
