The examinacion of Gillcomey McHallgar of Dunnard in the Parish of Culfaghtrim Parish yeoman taken before vs at Colerane the third day of March 1653
<31> Who being duely sworne & examined saith That he was present & did see & behold when one (whom he heard) was called Donnoghy Mc <D> Guiggan McAwley about three daies after the Murder at Portnaw; at Portnagree neere Ballycastle did kill & murder Hugh Hill Gilbert Gamill & his sonne with a skeine & that fferdoragh Magee & Coll McAllester with maney more Irish men whom hee did not know were standing vpon a Hill neere the said place called Portnagree beholding the said Donnoghy, murder the said three persons &
