The examinacion of Donnell Magowne of Moneymigno in the parish of Loughgeell Labourer taken before vs at Colerane the 4th day of March 1652
<33:> Who being duely sworne & examined saith That the next night after the Murder at Port Portnaw being at Ballymoney & seeing all the Countrye on fire he fledd towards Culfaghtrim parish where a <A> brother of his dwelt And that about 4: or 5: nights after the he came thither saith that he see one William Erwin Collier & his [ ] wife Margaret murdred by Tirlagh ô Donnell & Phelomy ô Boyle with a pike & that after the said William Erwin was cast downe the Rocke into the Sea the said Phelomy Boyle kept him downe with a pike vntill he was drowned And that Rory ô Deaghan & Patricke Magowne were present & see them committ the said Murders And further he saith not
