The Examinacion of Robert oge Stewart of the Parish of Culfaghtrim Gent taken before vs at Colerane the said 4th of March 1652

<35> Who being duely sworne & examined saith That about two daies after the Murder at Portnaw he was present & did behold & see (his life being then protected & saved by Coll McAllester) <A> when one Donnoghy McGuiggin McAwley Murdred Hugh Hill Gilbert Gamill & his son at Portnagree. That there were at the same time present & lookeing on from the topp of the hill the said Coll McAllester Cormacke รด Dullenan & Shane McVickar McCormacke with above One hundred in their Company And this Examinante further saith That fferdoragh Magee was at this Examinants house the same day the former Murder was committed & that William Gifen was murdred by fferragher Magee & Patricke McAhoy on the backe of this Examinantes house the said fferdoragh Magee being then present & beholding the said Murder And further he saith not.
