The examinacion of Murdogh ô Mullary of Ballymoney Parish labourer taken before vs <symbol> the said 4th of March 1652
<38:> Who being duely sworne & examined saith That about three daies after black ffriday which was the 14th of ffebruary 1641 he goeing out of the Garrison of Colerane to fetch a load of turfe, was taken by some of James McColl McDonnells men, & that his life was saved by Widdow McDuffee to be her ploughman, and that he was carryed before James McHenry <A> & Allester Coll McDonnell now dead & before Donnell gorme mcDonnell & Brian Modder McHenry ô Cahan yet liveing & others whom he knowes not who then commanded the forces which lay at Ballyreshane to keepe in the Garrison of the Brittish at Colerane, Who enquired of the Examinante touching the strength of Colerane & then he went along with the said Widdow Duffee who begged his life from the said Officers And further he saith not:
