The examinacion of Elizabeth the wife of John Campbell in the parish of Loughgeill taken before vs the said 7th day of March 1652
<42:> Who being duely sworne [ ] & examined saith That about 300 woemen besides Children were murdred by the Irish at Ballyluske & Ballynefeagh about 2: or 3: daies after Portnaw murder <D> & that the Examinants father was murdred there by Donnell McIlaine now as she heares liveing in Raghrie & by Gillaspy McLamond who went for Scotland And that Gilbert McIlwee who went for Scotland & some others of the Irish put this Examinants Child & 3: Children more into a hole made in the earth all of them alive at Ballyluske aforesaid & buryed them quicke as she hath credibly heard And further she saith not
