The Examinacion of John Lamraghton of Carnglass in the parish of Ballyreshane & County of Antrim yeoman taken before vs the 18 day of March 1652
<58:> Who being duely sworne & examined saith That the night after the English & Scotch were killed at Garvagh in December 1641 Rory Duffe McCormacke & some others of whom he was Cheife leader to the number of about thirty or forty armed with long pikes sett <C> vpon the Brittish at Gortecavan in the parish of Dunboe & County of Londonderry & stripped & wounded & mangled this Examinante & sett his neighbours John Hilhouse house on fire & killed himselfe & one William Tannohill & wounded & mangled his wife And further he saith not
