The Examinacion of Robert fformunt Yonger of or neare Antrym: aged 30 yeares or thereabouts who being duly sworne this first of June 1653 saith
That in the begininge of the Rebellion hee Liued with his ffather in Carmavy and was one of that party Comanded by Mr James Hamilton, of Cormavy, and marched with them soone after the Rebellion towards the house of Michaell Doyne, and saith that vpon their March the saw a party of ffoote comeinge hastily from Castle Robbins towards them, and att the same tyme this Examinante alsoe sawe many persons comeing from the house of Michaell Doyne: & Joyned with the Party that came from Castle Robbin as aforesaid & fell vpon the said Mr Hamilton & his Party, and killed eighteene persons amongst whom this Examinante alsoe knewe John Key:, William Harpur, elder, William Harpur yonger and that Mr Hamilton was then taken prisoner & brought to Mr Michaell Doyne his house, and was afterwards killed as hee hath beene Informed, and further this Examinante that a party some persons goinge vpp the next <day> followeinge to bury the Corps that were slaine as aforesaid & sawe the said Michaell Doyne his house on fire and the said Michaell Doyne as hee hath heard it reported then went into Rebellion: and more saith not
