The examinacion of Geo: Grime of Bodor in Com: Antrim aged fourty yeares taken at Lisnegaruy 29 Aprill 1653
Who saith that he Liued in his owne house when as at Cogry when as he sawe {diuers} Hugh Mag{ee} & Brian Magee with others goe by {his} house at twelue a clock in the day time a little after the Rebellion with their Cattle & their goods vpon Carrs towards Balliclare where some of the Scotts fell [ ] vpon them as he heard afterwards from the said Hugh Magee who related <A> unto this examinant afterward that there was one Will: McNeely who saued his life & denieth that he was there present but was in the company of one Patt: O Nellan at his owne house aforesaid being two miles from the place where the murder was comitted who now liueth in the Grange with one John Herbeson And being demanded if he neuer heard who was present at that killing saith Will: McCullo & John Rowan & John McCullogh were present then according to their owne relation to this examinant And he further saith that there was one John Browne Browne who liued in the towne of Balliclare when the killing was acted as aforesaid but whether he had hand in it or not this examinant knowes not according to his owne relation neither where he is And being demanded where these 3 men are saith they are dead & saith farther he knoweth not of any more that was there which is now aliue
