The Examinacion of Art O Donelly of Dunmurry in Comm: Antrim aged thirty fiue yeares of thereabouts taken 22 Aprill 1653
Who saith that as he with Dauid Boyes John Purden & others were goeing of to Dundalk about three yeares & a halfe agoe one Brian O Leuerty with seuerall others with him & vnder his comand were Lyeing in Ambush for [ ] Collonell Monckes comeing downe from Dundalk & a Post named Edm: McCormack chanceing to be sent downe to Lisnegaruy from Coll: Monck to Maior Rawden he was taken by the said Brian O Leuerty < & also this examinant & > the rest in his company & { } taken their horses & Armes according to his owne confession voluntarily vnto this examinant & also the said Brian saith that he the said Edm: mcCormack the said Post was taken to Charlemount where he was there hanged
