The examinacion & Confession of Callo O Knocker taken the 6: Ap: 1653
Who baeing examined denieth that hee was present <A> at the murther Comitted at John Parters house in Killulta, & Count: Antrim where Hugh Wilde & an other English man was Kild or that hee euer heard of any such thing till about 2 yeares since that John hee heard a rumour of that murther a but who Comitted it [ ] [ ] hee cannot tell nor heard who thay were till since hee was himselfe Comitted the woemen that came to releeue him told him that they heard a report in the Countrey that they this examinant & Patrick Oge O Hallan were Comitted for that murther. And further hee saith not
And baeing demanded whether hee knew a place called Bally m Gowash, neere bally derry, or anything of the murther Comitted theire he deneyeth murther Confeseeth that hee hee knowes that place & alsoe the place where John John Parter dwelt where the murther baefore mencioned was Comitted but hee deneyeth that hee was at either of the place in the since this Rebellion till hee after hee came into Protection, which was about 5 yeares since, hee alsoe deneyeth also that hee was euer a soldier, or that hee euer saw any murther Comitted in this Rebellion, nor was present at any fight neither did hee know Hugh Wild aboue named:
