The examinacion of Jane Binghame taken before me this first of November 1641
Whoe beinge duely sworne & examined saieth that aboute a fortnight past ha one John Dixon Came into her howse in CopperAlly & beinge <W> drinkinge in the howse. he asked this examinatt whether she would giue hime a pottle of Beere. & saide he might chance by a means to saue her life & she demaundinge in which way, he tould her he was to be Capten of the watch of the Citty, & the pottle of beere beinge Come he paid for the same & went his way & further saith not &c
