<7 Exw> Edmund Geassell of the Citty of Dublin gentleman Transcripter and fforeine opposer of his Maiesties Court of Exchequer sworne and examined saith That in the moneth of December Last he this deponent was by oneffleming of Slaine in the County of Meath Esquire Colonell of the Rebells and his Souldiers robbed stripped and dispoiled of his goodes & chattells to the value s following vizt of howholdstuff provision horses Mares geldings Cowes apparrell Lynenn, a fowleing peece and birding peece worth 40 li. And by meanes of this present Rebellion this deponent hath bin hindered of, lost, and deprived of the proffits and pe r quisetts of his office to his present Losse of Cxviij li. sterling, and he is like to Loose the future proffits thereo f vntill a settlement of peace b e had And this deponent alsoe by meanes of the said Rebellion is deprived dispojled of and hath lost in debts to him due & owing by Luke Netterville a Captain of the Rebells Patrick Cadell Esquire another Rebell and William Gernon as sonn and heire of Tho: Gernon, late of Mullinstowne gent
