The Rebellion brok out the 23th of October 1641
The Castle of Longford beseegd 5. or 6. wicks after
The Castle taken about the first of December 1641.
By the examinacion of Eliz: Trafford taken the 8th of Januar 1641.
It appeare that ffaghny mc Lisagh fferrall sonn & heir apparant to Lisagh Duff of Newtowne in the County of Longford was one of the Rebells and Barthol Nangle another that robbed the Castle of Longford & her husbands house & striped her husband & children and kild her husband Tho: Trafford a Minister
It appeares by the examinacion of Hubbert Pettit that ffaghny mc Lisagh fferrall of Lisneyme onagh in the County of Longford Esquire was among the Rebells in warrlike manner at Granard in Com Longford & was there called one of the Counsell of warr with the Rebells
