The examinacion of Loghlin mc Caffery of Kells in the Com of Meath taken before us Sir Ri Bolton knight Lord Cha. of Ireland and Sir Gerr Lowther knight &c the 5th day of November 1641
<Y> This examinant saith that hee was borne in Armagh the Com of ffermanagh and that for the space of halfe a yeare last past hee hath liued with an Ante of his Called Katherin mc Caffery in Kells in the Com of Meath aforesayd, And that his father dwelleth in the Com of ffermanagh vpon the land of Sir William Cole, And with whome hee formerly lived, And that the occacion of his Comeinge to Towne was that one Patrick [ ] Chaill mc Scuslock of Kells aforesaid Carman hired him to leade a Carr laded with sheepes skinns and Calues skins to dublin and for his paines gaue him 12 d., And saith that on Thursday they <Z:> came from kells and that night lay at Dunshoghlin, and the next day came to Dublin about twelue of the clocke and that at the stony booter the said Cahill mc Scullock paied him his for his hire and soe hee came to Dublin and on the merchants Key parted with the said Cahill and then went about his busines, and that which was to buy him Cloth to make him a paire of Breeches as hee saith and that on Saturday about in the afternoone hee was apprehended,
