The Examinacion of Laughlin Flood of [ ] Oxmonton taken before me Sir Richard Bolton knight Lord Chancellor of Ireland this 8th day of November 1641.
<J:> Who beeing duly sworne & examined upon his oath saith that yesternight about upon eleuen of the Clocke hee beeing standing Centinell neere the Church stile in Oxmonton there came Mr Nicholas Darcy Richard Birt of Tullogh & one other who is said to be his brother to the said Birt & two or three more and this Examinant bad them stand whereupon they called for the Corporall but before the Corporall came they desired him to uncocke his match & one of the Company the said Mr Darcy with a staffe put be aside this Examinants muskett then came the Corporall & passed them from this Examinant
