The examinacion of Henry Dillon Esquire sworne at the boord 10 feb. 1641
<Sc> This examynatt saith that beinge at Gormanston on Saterday last, The lord of Gormanston said to him That it was ill veary ill taken by the Country, and the Irish Army, that the Earle of Ormond did make inrodes into the Country, and especially that, lately made to the Naace in which he did burne and spoyle much, and hanged some people, and desired this Examinatt, that he should (when he came to Dublin) acquaint Sir James Dillon, or some other frend, with soe much, whoe should intimatt the same, to the said Earle of Ormond and assure him that the best pledges he had which was his wife, and Children should answer it, if he did any make any more such iorneyes
