Sayeth, that in the first yeare of the warrs about March, when Sir Morgan Kauanaghe <A> with others, Layed siedge to Ballelynane It was commonlye reported in their Campe that, one Umphrye Kauanaghe then reputed Capten of a foote Companye, tooke two, or three English woomen, and somme Children and at Castletowne Omoye, and hanged them there present; wherof notice comminge to Sir Morgan Kauanaghe, hee much reprehended him for it, as well then, as at others tymes, And further sayeth not,
