Patrick Young xvith June 1642 sworne & examined
Saith that about a month since hee being att Gallway there saw of poore d lodged vnder the walls of the said Towne and about the ffort about 150 of the poore distressed robd English who would could not bee admitted by the Inhabitants of the town to come within the Gates n eyther would the said Inhabitants admitt the said robd English within the Gates or send them [ ] releife out But saith that the said parties were releiued with about 2 tunn of barley sent vnto them by the out of a french Prise taken by the Imployment commanded by Captaine Ashley
