The further Examynation of Mrs Martha Pigott, late wyfe vnto Maior Jo: Pigott who was murthered at Dysert &c taken the 7o febr: 1652
beeinge duly examd & sworne sayth that after that shee this examinant, her 3 daughters & the rest of the weomen were stript, & this examinant & 5 or 6 more had bein drawen through <A> the ffyer, & through a Quick sett hedg & very much torne & scratched beeinge stript naked as is in her former examynation set forth this Examinant with two of her Grand Children & a servant mayd weare brought in to a house which was a Court of Garde within Less then pistoll shott of the Castle of Dysert, wheare shee sawe Coll ffarell (now prisoner in the marshalls Custody in Dublin, sittinge by a Great ffyer: & theare this examinant was sate downe sate downe vpon a litle heape of dung (shee beinge stript as afforesaid, & theare (in that house) this examinant Continued vntyll the next morninge that shee was sent a way by Coll ffarells order as shee hath before in her examinations declared this examinant sayth shee knows not wether the sayd Coll farell ordered her to bee brought in to that house afforesaid, but sayth that

That the sayd Coll ffarell sayd (to this examinant & the rest) t hat the you are well <B> Inough serued, and vsed other scornefull & vncharittable expressyons which now this Examinant doth not Remember, particularly & f u rthe r shee sayth not .
& the sayd ffarell sayd you might all haue had fayer Quarter if you had not stood out, & further shee Cannot depose
