The Examination of John Joan Condon of the Cittie of Kilkenny taken the 30th of Aprill 1652 concerning the murther of Richard Barnard and <B> John Banckes.
This Examinate deposeth that about Shrouetwesday in the yeare 1641 she did see Richard Barnard about the age of eleauen yeares sore wounded and afterwards he was hanged vpon the tenter hookes where his father vsed to hang stretch his cloath by Lewes Brenan and that she knoweth noe other Cause vnless it were were that he was of English parents, the cause of her knowledge is that she liued then in Castlecommer and did see him when he was hanged and the cutts vpon him and she further saith that she knoweth that the said Lewes Brenan hanged the said John Banckes being then but younge but of what age she knoweth {not}
