The examinacion of Margarett Enos of Roseberry in the County of Killdare spinster aged thirty fiue yeares or thereaboutes taken the xxjth day of ffebr 1653
Who beeing duely sworne and examjned deposeth and saith, That shee soone after the begining of the Rebellion the examjnant beeing in Roseberry aforesaid, and heareing a Cry in the said towne came out of her house, and enquireing what the matter was, shee was there tould by some of the Inhabitants that there was a boy killed [ ] neere the said towne, And soone after shee heard William mc John Harrold a soldier vnder Captain oliuer Dongan declare and say in the said towne that hee was the man that murthered the said boy and if any of the said Inhabitants should bee challenged for the same to say that hee did it, shee saith that shee did not see the said William mc John Harrold since the day that the said murther was comitted was k neither doth shee knowe where hee now is, but saith that shee heard the said william mc John Harrold is gon for Spayne, And further saith not,
