The Examination of John Quin taken the 26th daie of Aprill 1653 who saith as follows
That about two yeeres since hee was a a souldier vnder the comand of Sir James Dillon and hee together with one Morrogh ffarroll & Edmund ffarroll, goeinge to quarter within two miles of Ballimore, they met with three <A> boyes belonginge to the Garrison at Ballimore two whereof were runne through with swords by the said Morrogh & Edmund o ffarroll & the other of them this Examinant tooke & gave quarter, Beeinge asked whether the boyes had any Armes hee saith they had none, And further saith not.
