The Examynation of [mrs] An Rookbye wyfe of [ffoulke] Rookbye Gent taken the 6o June 1653.
The sayd Examinant beeinge duly sworne & Examyned sayth, that one James Dalton of Mullymaghan, brother to the late husband of this examinant, tould her this examinant that one Edw. ffiz Gear= ald <A>, of fraghells towne, or some other towne or place in the County of Killdare Gent, was a man that had a hand princippall actor in the murderinge of mr Edmond Dalton this examinants former husband who was Cruelly butchered in the first year of the Rebellyon.
& shee further sayth that shee doubteth not but to Get & produce full proofe of the same, & further sayth nott.
