Bryan mcEdm: fferrall of ffasLongford alias ffaghLongert in the County of longford gentleman ages fortye <D> eight yeares or thereabouts being duely sworne & examined (touching the late horrid murther at the Castle of Longford) sayth that hee credibly heard that one Lisagh mc Geralt fferrall and Rory mcGeralt fferrall, Roger Nangle late of Glanmore Edmond oge fferrall of& Richard mcConnell fferrall ofin the said Countye were commanders and had Companies in the said seige, And further sayth that one ffergus mc Lisagh fferrall of the Callow and Phelim ffarrell of the Mannor of RathCline in the

said County were Commanders, in the murther of <E> Callowe, which was committed in the first yeare of the rebellion, vppon one Stibbs and a woman (whose names hee remembreth not,) as this Examinant hath heard, hee further sayth that hee heard that one Thomas Trafford a minister and was killed at longford by one John Reignolds and that one Thomas Allen was wounded and afterwards hanged by one Connell fferrall of Camliske in the said County, since deceased, And further sayth that hee this Examinant himselfe was mooved by Rory mcGeralt fferrall of the Sch Sch Scottish quarter to goe with him to Callowe to plunder, which this Examinant refused to doe, And further hee sayth not.

The said Bryan fitsJohn fferrall & Bryan mc Edmond fferrall eich for himselfe acknowledgeth to owe to the Common wealth of England the somme of C: li. sterling eich, by to be leveied of their lands and tenements goods & Chattles &c by way of Recognizance
Condicion is for their personall apperance before the high Court of Justice sitting at dublin to testifye their knowledge ([ore temer]) against any of the persons in their examinacions named (vppon notice or warneing given them) and not to departe the Court without license
