The examinacion of Tho: Rossitur late of Rathmacklune Esquire aged about 37 yeares who being duely sworne & examined touching the aforesaid William Esmond, by vertue of his oath saith
That hee well knowes the said William Esmond, & saith that the said Esmond was in the ffeild that daie Leutenant Trevisoe & the partie with him of the English f of Duncanon ffort to the number of twenty or thereabout, (as hee beleeveth ) were killed, but the daie certayne daie hee remembers not, but knowes it was within the first yeare of the warre, that is to saie betwixt October 41 & october following 42: The cause of this Examinants knowledge is for that hee sawe the said <p> William Esmond present in the feild at the tyme Lt Treviso was killed as aforesaid, ffurther saith not
