The Examinacion of Robert Browne of Knickgengle in the go Countye of Waxford taken on behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerninge the aforesaid Richard Waddinge and his and heire John Waddinge aforesaid
<to the 1st>
<to the 1st interro>this deponent sath hat the said Richard and John liued in the first yeare of the warr and euer since at Ballecoglye aforesaid to this day it beinge then in the Irish quarters and <w> sath that the said partyes might haue remou{ed} themselues into the English quarteres as other some English did, at the first of the warr
<to the 2 interro> he Can not depose
<to the 3d interro> This deponent sath that he Confidentlye beleiuet{h} that the said Richard did actually Contrebute in the publicke taxes of the Countrye for the <x> maintanance of the Irish forces in the first yeare of the warr
<to the rest of the interrogatoryes> this deponent sath that the said Richard was ofte{n} at Kilkenny in some publicke office as hee <y> hath heard and that the said Richard was tresurer for the Irish in the Countye of Wax{ford}
