Nicholas Connor of Ballinvellegh gent aged about sixty yeares knight being duely sworne and examined Concerning the foresaid Teig Murcho gent deceased Saith and Deposeth as followes vizt
That he well knew the said Teig for that he dwelt before & at the beginning of the said Rebellyon about foure miles adjacent from this deponents habitacion: And further saith that the said Teig did act and promote the said Rebellyon & was in Armes for the Irish against the english Imediately after the beginning of the warre and Raysed a Company of men is the said middle quarter of <q> the barrony of Ballaghkeen about three monthes after the said Rebellyon brake forth & with thatt Company of men soe Raysed by him he the said Teig Marched into the County of Dublin or thereabouts and was being in fight against the english was there slayne: The deponents cause of knowledge is for that the deponent did see the said Teig often in the front of his Company vpon before his March towardes the County of Dublin as aforesaid and for that the deponent was credibly certifyed by the reportes of some of the said Teigs souldyers that Came backe from the said fight that the said Teig was killed in fight by the english being in actuall Armes against them as aforesaid and further saith not &c
