The Examinacion of James Peirce of Ballell gent aged fortie yeares or thereabouts taken vpon oath on the behalfe of the Comonwealth Concerning Patr Rosceter of Bridge of Bargie farmer in the County of wexford
<To the 1st Inter> The examinant Deposeth that the said Patricke dwelt the whole time of the rebellion in the Irish quarters sometimes with his father at Bridge of Bargie & other times in the towne <p> of wexford the deponents cause of knowledge is for that he was well acquainted with the said Patr during the warre
<To the 2d inter> Hee Cannot depose
<To the 3d & 4th inter> The deponent saith that the said Patr did contribute his person in Armes in the sea seruice fighting against the english about the third yeare of the Rebellion & thence forward & that the said Patr was in the Mary & John ffriggott bellonging to wexford which went to sea & brought in <q> seauerall of the english ships & goods into Wexford as prices as this deponent was informed by the said Patrickes Relacion, as alsoe by the intimacion of one Thomas ffurlong this deponents kinsman who was Master of the said ffriggot
