Richard Gettings gentleman Thomas Rice & Ralph George Dent gentlemen (brittish protestants all Late of dunerayle in the County of Corke) beinge duely sworne & examined vpon their corporate oathes (for & in the behalfe of the right honorable Sir William St. Leger knight Lord president of Munster & one of his Maiesties most honorable priuy Counsell of Irland) by vertue of his Maiesties Comission (beareing date the 5th of March in the 17th yeere of his Maiesties raigne that nowe is) touching e the losses & suffrings of his loyall subiects within the province of Munster they depose & say That the said Sir William St. Leger vpon the 25th or 26th of ffebruary last or therabouts & since the begining of this presente rebellion in Irland he lost & hath beene robbed & forceably dispoyled of his goods & Chattles Lands & debts to the seuerall values followeing vizt worth 3224 li. part consisting in debts dueOf the anual l beneffitt of his lordshipps land of Rathcoman in the barony of duhalla & County of Cork e to the value of one hundred & fiftie pounds per annum beinge one yeeres rent Of his lordshipps yeerly rent out of the Lands of donerayle in the barony of ffermoy & Count ie aforesaid & of the yeerly rent of the Grange in the barony of Orrery & County aforesaid amounting to eight hundred fiftie & six pounds per annum. Of th e anuall rent of one colpe & th ree quarters of a Colpe named Synone in the barony of Middlethird & Countie of Tipperary yeerly woorth one hundred & fiftie pounds Of the anuall revenue or yeerly benefitt for 6 yeeres to come or therabouts out of the Mannor of Villers in the queenes County to the value of six hundred pounds per annum or therabouts. <Of the anuall rent of kilcurri in the Queenes Countie woorth foure score pounds per annum> Of his goods his wooll & corne in haggard & ground & other goods at Synone aforesaid to the value of two hundred & twenty pounds. Of debts which his Lordshipp accounted good debte before this rebellion begun amounts to foure hundred sixtie eight pounds due from donogh

<from donogh> O Callaghane of Cloninine in the said County gentleman dermod mc Grilly o Callaghane of Gortroe in the said baronie & Countie gentleman both nowe in actuall rebellion <A> the heires or executors of Edmond Spencer late of kilcolman in the barony of Orrery & Countie aforesai d gentleman deceased Therlagh o Brien of in the County of Clar e dissenabled by this rebellion gentleman Robert Malle font Late of the parish of doner ayle in the said County gentleman & donogh mc Shane of the same John mc Curtin late of the parish of Castlemagner & County aforesaid gentleman nowe in actuall rebellion & in regard some of the said parties are out in actuall rebellion & the rest dissenabled in their estates by meanes of this re b ellion his lordshipp is not likely to gett any satisfaction from them. The aboue named Richard Gettings deposeth the contents of the premisses to be true.
Of his lordshipps breedinge mares geeldings coults & one nagge to the value of one hundred & eighteene pounds sterling. Thaboue named Thomas Rice deposeth that this deposicion is true Of his Lordshipps Cattle at the Lands of Rathcoman aforesaid to the value of three hundred & thirtie pounds sterling. Of his horses & mares waggon horses & one nagg to the value of sheepe to the value of two hundred & twenty seaven pounds of his waggon horses & one nagge to the value of twenty fiue pounds sterling. The aboue G eorge dent deposeth that this la s t e deposition is true. The said George lastly saith that <C> he was credibly informed that the said donogh o Callaghane dermod o Callaghane aforesaid & Cahir mc Cnogher Callaghane neere Rathcoman aforesaid tooke & caried away with them the said Cattle abou t e the time aboue mencioned. The totall of his lordshipps losses amounts to three thousand two hundred twenty foure pounds sterling & further they cannot depose
