James Peirce of Ballell gent aged fortie yeares or there abouts being sworne & examined Concerning the said <q> Patricke ffitznicholl deposeth that this deponent did see Martyne ffitznicholl sonne to the said Patr about ffebr 1641 among the Irish at Duncannon forte acting in the Capacity of an ensigne to the Company of Collonell william Browne then Joyned with the County forces blocking vp the Lord Esmond & the english in the said forte of Duncannon & further saith that afterwardes about ffebruary or March 164{1} the examinant did see the said Martyne ffitznicholl in the Capacity aforesaid at the fight of Ballibegg neere Rosse fighting against the english at which time & place the said Collonell Browne{s} Company then was & further cannot depose &c
