The Examinacion of Gibbon McShane taken before me att Youghall Concerneing the death of Thomas Carter of Youghall this 25th of October 1652
<A> Beinge examined Concerneinge the death of Thomas Carter and Bartholomew Embry & whether he knew them or noe, he sayth that he knew them both for a longe tyme and sayth that he was present when Bartholamew Embry was killed in the water by Richard Condon of Ballerogh and & that Robert Condon sonne to the sayde Richard Condon & divers others were present and sayth that he never stroke the sayd Emrby but he threw a dart off him but itt hurt him not & beinge demaunded how Carter was killed he sayth that he was not with the party when he was killed./
