<Kinsale ffebruary 21th 1653> Depositions taken Concerninge Donnogh oge Carthy in the Barrony of Coursey in the parish of RingeRone in the yeare 1641
Hen White of the parish of RingeRone in the Barrony of Coursey Aged about 58 yeares beinge sworne and Examined Saith that hee Liuinge in Coursey a s afforesaid knew the afforesaid Carty and that<1)> hee might haue Remoued as to the English Quarters as well as diuers other English of his Neighbours did
<2)> That hee Remoued to Risbrittame & farther into the Irish Quarters and Continued there forth about 2 year{s} untill the time of Cessacion and then Returnd and was RepoCest of his Land and house and Lands from which hee soe departed
<3)> Being Thatt hee the said Donogh oge Carty did Carry with him what Catle hee att the time of his goinge forth into Rebellion [ ] all all his owne Cowes horses Sheepe and other Cattle
<10)> That hee tooke with him att the time of his goinge forth his fiue sonnes Viz Dermond Teig his Eldest sonne Teige Donnogh Owen and Patrick who are all now Liuinge and with him in the Barrony of Coursey aforesaid that hee had a Kinsman that was Likewise forth with him for his Name this deponent knowes Nott but hee Liues in the afforesaid Barrony this Instant
The Cause of this deponent knowledge is that hee was a Neighbour to the afforesaid Carty and saw both att his goinge forth and att his Returninge and for home and farther Saith Nott
