<Mallow March the 7th 1653> Deposicions taken Concerning Morris Gibbon of Garrineagronoge in the Barrony of Kilmore and County of Corke Gent, in the yeare 1641
Phillip Holmes of Moyalloe gent Aged forty foure yeares, beinge Duly Sworne & Examined Saith
That the said Morris Gibbon liued at Garrinigronige, aforesaid in the begininge of the Rebellion and Continued there and did Not Remoue into the English quarters as the Rest of the English Inhabitants Did that liued there abouts, who Kept a Garrison in the same Parrish
That hee Continued in the Enemies quarters from the time aforesaid vntill the yeare 1651
That hee was in Actuall Armes against the English,
That hee had a Kinsman that was alsoe in Actuall Armes against the English, and Comanded a troope of horse in the Irish Army,
That hee the said Gibbon was a Captn of a Company of ffoote in the said Irish Army
The Deponents Cause of Knowledge [ ] is, that hee liuinge alwaies in these Partes of the Country & heard Continually of the said Gibbons Actions and saw him brough Prisoner into Mallow where hee was Casually Killed in the Marshallsey by the ffall of a house,
