<Corke June 7th 1654> Deposicions taken Concerning Richard Roach of the Ileland in the Barrony of Kinalea in the yeare 1641
Morrish McMurtah now Souldier in the Company of Collonel Hewson aged about 40 yeares being duely sworne & examined Saith
That the said Richard Roach was in actuall Armes with the Iresh in the yeare 1641
The Cause of this deponents Knowledge is that hee often sawe the said Richard Roach in at Armes with the Iresh against the English in the said yeare & further saith nott
