<Mallow March the 7o 1653> Deposicions taken Concerninge Leiutenant Generall Purcell of the Barrony of Kenry in the County of Limbricke in the yeare 1641
Christopher Webb of Moyalloe Aged twenty seauen yeares being Duly sworne & Examined saith that hee liued at ArchKeaton in the County of Limbricke in the yeare 1641 &c
That the said Purcell was in Actuall Armes against the English in the yeare aforesaid
The Cause of this Deponents Knowledge in that hee was in the Castle of ArchKeaton aforesaid when it was taken by the Irish and that hee saw the said Purcell Command in Cheife that party that were there, And that alsoe hee had a passe vnder his hand after the surender of the said Castle to Repaire to the Castle of Rathgoggan in the County of Corke
