<Mallow March 7th 1653> Depositions taken Concerninge Sir Edward fitz Harris of the Cloghonorthy neere Kilmallock in the County of Limbrick in the yeare 1641
William Arnold of Mallow Gent Aged about 36 yeares beinge sworne an{d} Examind saith that hee Liued att Mallow in the yeare 41 that hee knew the afforesaid Harris Liuinge as afforesaid the same yeare
That hee was in Actuall Armes with the Eneimy in the yeare 44
The Cause of this deponents Knowledge is that when Condicion was made for surrendringe the Castle of Mall{ow} to the Irish that then the aforesaid Harris did Challenge this deponent & h and demanded of him who gaue him Authority to were a sword to which this deponent gaue noe Answere
