Att Sligoe the 14th of May 1653
Tomultagh murry mcdonnogh of Ballinaglogh adged fiftie yeares beinge chardged with the murder Comitted at the Boile sayeth that hee was a Captain the of a foote Company at the takeing in of ballinfadda Castle in may 1642 vnder the Comaund of maior gennerall Luke Taaffe beinge the first <A> yeare that the irish warrs begann: But sayeth neither hee in personn or any vnder his Comaund, or by his directions were at the preyinge of the Abby of Boile, or at the Comittall of the murders there donn as is suggested against him And further sayeth not that hee was not at Ballinafadda the same tyme the partie drawne from thence went to prey the boile or.
