The examination of Collo: Thomas Burk taken before Collonell peeter stubber and Mr. Robertt Clark beinge Comissioners for [ ] the Administration of Justice in the precincts of Gallway.
Whoe beinge examined saith, that he was not in place when sargea{nt} Rouleright and the rest of the English with him, were aprehended by the Lord of Clanmoris his party, as but after they were apprehended he <A> came, [ ] to stran=more when the aforesaid party with the prisoners were Departinge the towne with the Lord of Clanmoris, he further saith he parted with himselfe from the said Company before they came to the place of execution; And further saith he was the instrument of saueinge John furlonges life beinge one of the said English, then taken prisoner, and conueyed him out of the said place; with his horse and Armes, which said horse and Armes he sent to the said Mr. furlonge aboute twoe Daies after, And further saith not.
