<Gallway May 25o 1653> The Examination of Teige mc Enry taken before before Robertt Clark Esquire one of the Justices of the peace for the province of Connaght.
Being Examined, whether he was along with Collonell flaherty when he beseidged the Castle of Trumcoe, saith he was; and <A> saith he remained with the said men; before the Castle, saith he heard that Mr Ward, his wife, and his sonne were slaine Killed; but he sawe them not, but what became of the rest he Knoweth not and further Denieth that he had any share of the plunder, An{d} further saith not; he was in protection when he was taken,
