The examenation of Conor รด Boyle of Inchowen in the Barrony of Athloane taken before Capt Robert Olliuer esquire tuching the murthering of William Hues Henery Co l lier Jones & his wife neere Athlone
This examenent saith that Captain Brabson sent a party of his Company into passadges to keep in the Garison of Athloane, being the Bridge of Cranagh & the Bridge of bealenymully & this examenant saith, that one of the Company being a priuat souldier was put in Comaund of the rest by name Rickard Bourk whoe appointed this examenant to stand vppon a hill sintrey wheile the party were gon to towards Athloane to Luck for a booty, presently after hee heard a crey to which place he went with all speed, expecting to haue a share of what plunder the said souldiers foun d gott in the said place & when he came there he heard that William Hues & Hary Coller his wife was killed in the place before his coming there by the said souldiers & Hary Coller being then aliue knowing this examenant cryed to him for mercie whoe did vndertak to saue his Life vntill he had brought the said Hary before his Captain & in theire way som three meyles out of that place homewards they meett the rest of that party that went abroade where they had aserious resoulte amongst themselues on which they haue concluded to murther the said Hary Collier which they murthered Imedieatly & further saith that the said Hary was murthered against his will

this examenant further saith that those were the persons that murthered, the said William Hues Hary <C> Collier & his wife whose names followeth Breyn o Greaghan, Mlaghlen o Greaghan of Castle Cnock in the Barrony of Athloane, Teige Ryan of Belanasloe & saith that there was sixteen in the said party that Comitted the murther aforesaid & knoweth not what becometh of them onely those before named
